Caramel Breakfast Ring
INGREDIENTS:
- 16 frozen dinner rolls, unbaked
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding, uncooked
- 1 c. pecan pieces, optional
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Sauce:
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. vanilla ice cream
DIRECTIONS:
Spray bundt pan with cooking spray. Put in half of nuts, next put in frozen dinner rolls. Sprinkle with the vanilla pudding. Next, sprinkle cinnamon over pudding. Prepare sauce 3 hours before baking. Sauce: Melt butter, add sugars, and bring to a boil. Let cool a little; add ice cream. Pour over rolls; sprinkle with the rest of the nuts. Cover and let rise until pan is a little over 3/4 full. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 15 people. Note: May put in a sheet pan instead of bundt pan
