Strawberry Ice

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 c. fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice

DIRECTIONS:

Put berries in a blender or food processor. Process till smooth. In saucepan heat sugar and water until sugar is dissolved. Pour into blender, add lemon juice. Process until combined. Pour into shallow container, cover and freeze for 4-6 hours or until almost frozen. Just before serving whip mixture in blender. A very refreshing summertime treat. Serves 6.
