Apple Sticky Buns

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Yeast
  • 3/4 c. Milk
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 3/4 c. Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped Apples
  • 3/4 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. Corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. Chopped nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. Water

DIRECTIONS:

Put first 2 ingredients in a large bowl. Heat next 5 ingredients together until warm. Add to flour mixture. Add next 3 ingredients and let rise 30 minutes. While dough is rising, combine next 6 ingredients and heat until melted. Pour into 9×13 pan. Drop dough by tablespoon onto syrup. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Cool 1 minute and invert on cookie sheet. Quick and delicious. Best when warm.
