Blueberry Stuffed French Toast


  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup blueberry pie filling, or any flavor pie filling
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • powdered sugar


Spread 4 slices of bread with cream cheese and 1-2 Tbsp. pie filling per slice. Put plain slices and prepared slices together. Set aside. Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt and sugar together. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture and brown on both sides over medium heat on a buttered griddle. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately with syrup. Yield: 4 servings. Note: You can use any flavor pie filling
