Chocolate Marshmallow Brownies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts, opt.
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows

Fudge Icing:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups powdered sugar (approx.)

DIRECTIONS:

Combine butter and cocoa in a saucepan and heat until butter is melted. Beat eggs; add butter mixture and sugar. Beat well. Add flour, salt, baking powder, vanilla and nuts; beat well again. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in a 10×15″ greased pan. Remove from oven and cover with marshmallows. Return to oven till marshmallows are big and puffy. Remove and drizzle with icing. Fudge Icing: Melt butter; add remaining ingredients. Drizzle while warm over marshmallows
