Egg-in-the-Nest
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 egg
- 1 piece bread
- butter
- salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Butter the bread on both sides. Cut a hole out of the center. Melt a bit of butter in a frying pan. Place the piece of bread in frying pan and crack egg into the hole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toast both sides. Also toast round piece that’s cut out. Use to dip into egg yolk if desired or toast egg till completely done. Note: This is something children can make.
