Hot Pepper Jam


  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 3 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 4 c. chopped hot peppers
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 box sure jell
  • 5 c. sugar


Add 1 cup vinegar and 1 box sure jell to chopped peppers. Bring to a full boil. Add sugar and boil 1 minute. Put hot jam in hot jars to seal. Takes quite awhile to set. Don’t forget to wear gloves when working with hot peppers. Really good with cream cheese and crackers.
