Root Beer Cupcakes
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. soda
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. allspice
- 1 c. root beer
DIRECTIONS:
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine the flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and allspice; add to creamed mixture alternately with root beer. Put in cupcake liners in cupcake baking pan. Bake at 350° till done. Cool and frost. Use regular frosting or combine whipped topping with crushed root beer barrel candies.
